Describe the product
Write what the product is in your own words, or paste the line from a specification sheet. DutiveX reads the description the way a classifier would: what the thing is, what it does, what it is made of and how it works.
How it works
DutiveX is built for the moment a real product does not obviously match a single heading. It works from the official tariff schedules, keeps the reasoning visible, and leaves the final decision with the person accountable for it.
The journey
Write what the product is in your own words, or paste the line from a specification sheet. DutiveX reads the description the way a classifier would: what the thing is, what it does, what it is made of and how it works.
Rather than asking you to complete a long form, DutiveX identifies the details that would actually change the result and asks only for those. If a product can be classified from what you have already written, you are not asked anything further.
Choose the destinations the decision has to hold up in. Each jurisdiction publishes its own tariff schedule with its own structure, so each one is worked through separately rather than derived from a single shared answer.
You get the code for each jurisdiction alongside the official description, the product facts the result depended on, the reasoning that led from chapter to subheading, and the schedule it was read from.
The result
A code by itself cannot be reviewed, reused or defended six months later. DutiveX presents the result as something a colleague, an adviser or a customs authority can follow.
Working with it
Where the line sits
Classification carries legal responsibility, so DutiveX is built to be checked rather than trusted blindly. Every result is presented with the reasoning and the source behind it, so the person accountable in your business can review the work before it is used.
Pilot programme
Pilot conversations start with a single product that is genuinely difficult to classify. That is usually the fastest way to judge whether DutiveX is useful to you.
